GmbH unveiled its Fall-Winter 2026 collection during Berlin Fashion Week, continuing its tradition of intertwining fashion with powerful cultural narratives. This fourth show in the brand’s hometown reflects a deep connection to music and club culture, drawing inspiration from Berlin’s experimental music scene of the early 1980s.

The collection pays homage to influential industrial and synth music pioneers such as DAF and Einstürzende Neubauten, particularly highlighting the contributions of iconic figure Blixa Bargeld. In a time when the city’s original ethos is increasingly threatened by commercial interests and societal pressures, GmbH seeks to reclaim the spirit of counterculture and utopian ideals that once defined Berlin.

Accompanying the collection are original musical compositions and four evocative poems, which serve as both inspiration and anchor throughout the design process. GmbH emphasises that clothing transcends mere fabric, acting as codes and symbols of identity and belonging. The collection’s theme, ‘Doppelgänger,’ serves as a cautionary tale, reminding us of the need to confront and learn from the shadows of our past.

All photos for this collection have been expertly captured by Shin Jeong Hoon, further enhancing the visual narrative that GmbH aims to convey. The brand’s commitment to addressing global issues remains steadfast, seeking beauty in the darkness while encouraging a dialogue on the state of our world.
