MANS AND THEIR FRENCH INTERLUDE

Sleeves at the waists on his and padded shoulders on hers. Jaime dresses the boys and girls, men and women who live this duality of work and leisure in their daily lives.

These are old-fashioned British tailoring suits but with a fresh touch of colour and a nod to floating feathers. It looks elegant and rich but plays with modern codes such as pleats, created by pleating the ends of the trousers or sleeves. The designer claims that by creating imperfections, young men can see themselves wearing suits and simply represent them from an everyday perspective. As well as embracing transparency as a masculine garment. Visual dynamism through narrow but large vertical seam pleats. This story is tinged with French romanticism, with an overall aesthetic and a lightness that sensually embraces the bodies of both men and women.

The design style that characterizes the brand has been always marked by the flowing blouse with long lace, which now finds a tie in the same tone to differ the way of playing with the neck area. Mans is a collapse for a society that continues to label people as masculine or feminine by the way they dress. It is both feminine and masculine, sensual and serious. Men and women wearing straight lines flirting with softly moving fabrics. A bold statement, it’s no wonder it has won over six awards since its inception in 2017. One of them is the Vogue Fashion Award Who’s on Next 2020.

On this occasion, after a skipped edition, we find shades like baby blue which seems sexier than cute seen in these models. Contrasted by sober greys and blacks, transgressing into reds or purples. Maintaining this double dialogue between day and night. Delicate aesthetics and urban strength. Strong but sophisticated. Chic but practical.

The name of the brand is a tribute to ‘’Demans‘’ the surname of the creative designer Jaime, which comes from his maternal great-grandfather of German origin who always wore tailored suits and instilled in him a devotion to tailoring and classic elegance. The result is a new approach to masculinity that fuses classic tailoring references with youthful subcultures in a constant interplay of interconnected opposites in search of balance.
