The collection’s name, ELYSIUM, draws on Greek mythology, referring to a realm of perfect happiness and transformation. Traditionally viewed as a haven for the worthy, it symbolizes the collection’s ethos of rejuvenating waste materials, giving discarded items new life. The garments are crafted from meticulously selected waste materials that have been thoughtfully reimagined into wearable art.
ELYSIUM – Fashion’s Future Redefined
ELYSIUM goes beyond simple upcycling, giving bold new life to discarded materials such as worn-out car tyres and fabric scraps, transforming them into dresses, corsets, belts, and striking fashion statements. This collection highlights the harmonious coexistence of sustainability and creativity, embodying a vision of a future where technology, nature, and humanity exist in unity. ELYSIUM represents a significant step toward rethinking our relationship with waste in the fashion industry.
The jewellery in this collection, created by Genevieve-The Label and St. Grillz, along with hair and makeup accessories, utilize deadstock fabric and discarded tyre tubes. Accessories incorporate advanced 3D technology, developed by a talented team including Reem Jarhum, Chie Yamamoto, Takuya Usami, and Béanne Da Costa. Our hair and makeup designs also promote our commitment to upcycling and creativity. Additionally, the culinary offerings for the cast and crew reflect thoughtfulness, featuring organic, vegetarian, and vegan menus curated by Home of Dumpling and Spree Fumée. The venue supports sustainability with refillable drinking water faucets, minimizing single-use plastics. Accessibility is prioritized in the show design, including features such as a quiet zone to accommodate diverse needs.
The collection promotes diversity by offering designs that cater to all body types, ranging from XXS to XXL, ensuring that everyone feels represented and valued. The services include product rentals and co-creation initiatives to extend product life cycles and emphasize the importance of existing collections. Furthermore, on-demand production methods are employed to reduce waste and eliminate overstock.
