Backstage at JORDANLUCA Fall/Winter 2024

All backstage photos by Adam Siwek. In the high-stakes game of fashion where daring ideas are the currency, Jordan Bowen and Luca Marchetto, the creative masterminds behind JORDANLUCA, have once again proven that a great concept can spark a wildfire. Their unwavering faith and a dash of devil-may-care ambition have set the Milan Fashion Week ablaze, nudging them into the spotlight with a collection that simmers with allure.

With the Fall/Winter 2024 lineup, JORDANLUCA played a whimsical tribute to the humble balloon – filling the stark industrial space with 1500 of these buoyant muses. Adorned with artful prints by Dominic Myatt, these balloons weren’t just decor; they became coveted mementoes, teasing out memories and longing amongst the fashion elite in attendance.

Home – that sanctuary of the soul – served as more than just a haven for these designers. It’s the storyboard of the past, a wellspring of nostalgia that Bowen and Marchetto drew upon, weaving together sartorial tales of youthful exuberance and the unquenchable thirst for life’s game. Their latest foray is a testament to this playful spirit, scoring them top marks from a ravenous crowd.

In the red glow of anticipation, the collection unfolded, a crescendo of colour to a white-hot runway moment. Grey and black tailoring stormed the Italian stage, invoking the power-dressing mantra of “Boss B*tch!” Double-collared shirts and fresh-off-the-runway bags in striking red or black punctuated the ethos of power, professionalism, and poise.

But just when we thought we had JORDANLUCA pegged, the narrative spun – from good boys to rebel yell, the collection veered, heralding an onslaught of punk-inspired ‘dos and defiant garbs. Key pieces demanded attention: voluminous bomber jackets with signature bulldog shoulders, leather jackets (one donned by Andreas Kronthaler himself), and gleaming silver accessories worn brazenly around the neck.

The JORDANLUCA men? They’re on a mission. Not just to conquer, but to electrify the globe with their rule-breaking ethos. This isn’t just clothing – it’s a call to arms, a sartorial revolution under the banner of JORDANLUCA, where every thread is woven with confidence and the pursuit of a life less ordinary.
