Nicolas Burri is a Zurich based fashion and portrait photographer. He began taking pictures in his early teenage years. His fascination for faces quickly took over and lead him to portrait and fashion photography. He always enjoyed the contrast of these two genres. On one hand the authenticity of a character portrait and on the other hand the creation of a strange dreamworld in fashion. He loves to play with these contradictions and often combines them in his images.

His recent story “Bordeline” was dedicated to the contrast of different moods and light in a very graphic environment. The outline was to blend calming and peaceful moments with sort of strange looks and abnormal behaviour.
