A KALTBLUT exclusive by photographer Soren Drastrup and team. Bronx Finest is a nostalgic story about a young, playful girl, a poet born and raised in The Bronx. It’s set to take place in 90s NYC, made with the look of page tears from an old magazine. The editorial combines imagery with poetry and texts written by talent, Hawa Kaba.
Soren Drastrup is a photographer and casting director residing in Copenhagen, Denmark. Graduated from Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin, Germany, in 2018. Soren’s photographic work mixes the genres of portrait, fashion and documentary, and is often characterised by its authenticity, intimacy and fragility.
His photographic work has been exhibited internationally, with solo exhibitions in Paris, Berlin and Copenhagen, as well as group exhibitions in Berlin, Hamburg, Moscow, Bratislava and Guangzhou.
Alongside his photographic career, he is working as a casting director in the fashion and advertising industry. He is drawn to non-traditional faces and strong character, aiming to showcase a beauty that is diverse and inclusive.
