C.P. Company S/S024 Collection

For the S/S024 collection, C.P. Company presents a blend of contemporary styles that resonate well with the evolving urban context, combined with their signature approach to technical innovation.

The complete range for this season offers a variety of colour options such as Red Bud, Verdant Green, Ink Blue, and Fluo Green, all showcased within relaxed silhouettes. These colours are perfectly integrated with garment dyeing processes, subtle chiaro/scuro effects, and changing structures.

Introducing PiUM, C.P. Company showcases a transparent single-layer polyurethane membrane that is completely water-resistant and highly breathable. This innovative material highlights details like inner and outer pockets, reinforced nylon seams, and drainage holes.

The transparent effect of the membrane is particularly prominent in brighter colours, as seen in the Ink Blue used for the bomber jacket. The silhouette has been reworked with a system of functional inner pockets that act like a vest and can be secured with safety flaps.

To blend the contrasting aesthetics of PiUM with everyday clothing, C.P. Company has applied the membrane to specific details of the Explorer and Field jackets, using 50 Fili Gum, a double-layered nylon-cotton fabric derived from American field parkas.

The concept of seasonality is reflected in the Traces/Apparent Purity collection, which draws inspiration from C.P. Company’s catalogue from the 80s and 90s. During that time, the garments were presented in interchangeable modular structures. A jacket can be transformed into a sleeveless jacket with multiple pockets, or only the lower pockets can be worn as a tactical vest. The collection showcases a reinterpretation of the classic “500 Miglia” jacket, a shorter version of the “1000 Miglia,” made from recycled Chrome-R nylon yarns.

Taking inspiration from the shapes of US Navy workwear from the 60s and 70s, the denim collection revamps some of the classic C.P. Company silhouettes. For example, the Goggle jacket is crafted from Blu fabric, a finely woven denim gabardine with water and colour-resistant inner coating. The resin coating not only enhances performance but also dramatically alters the appearance of the fabric, allowing finished garments to be over-dyed, highlighting the unique brilliance of indigo while leaving the lighter inner fabric untouched.

For the SS024 season, C.P. Company introduces new accessories made from Nylon B, a durable, water-resistant fabric specifically developed for garment dyeing. These accessories are perfect for nature exploration, daily commutes, or travelling through wild landscapes.

Building on their craftsmanship expertise demonstrated in SS023, C.P. Company continues to expand their range of handcrafted graphic t-shirts. These shirts undergo a meticulous screen-printing process, where a rigid canvas is dyed to absorb the print and then hand-pressed onto the garment.
