After an unforgettable night at the 26th annual Latin GRAMMY Awards, Argentine duo CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso are ready to turn the page to a bold new chapter with their latest single, “GIMME MORE,” and their highly anticipated studio album, TOP OF THE HILLS. The duo made history by securing ten nominations—an unprecedented feat for an Argentine project in a single year—ultimately taking home five major awards. Their wins included accolades for Best Short Form Music Video with “#TETAS,” Best Long Form Music Video for “PAPOTA,” Best Pop Song for “EL DÍA DEL AMIGO,” Best Alternative Music Album (PAPOTA), and Best Alternative Song with “#TETAS.”
The awards ceremony was electrified by one of the night’s standout performances, where CA7RIEL and Paco inspired with a surreal medley atop two giant mountains, echoing themes from their previous Tiny Desk appearance. With Paco’s iconic blue hat and CA7RIEL’s flamboyant heart-patterned vest as focal points, the performance became a vivid chapter in Latin GRAMMY history, animated by muscular men creating hats and hearts around them.
This triumph at the GRAMMYs caps off a groundbreaking year propelled by the viral success of their Tiny Desk performance, along with the critically acclaimed EP PAPOTA and the ambitious PAPOTA Tour. Spanning over 60 concerts across four continents, including landmark festivals like Coachella, Glastonbury, and six editions of Lollapalooza, the duo recently rocked the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires and joined Kendrick Lamar on his Grand National Tour through Latin America. Adding to their accolades, they received their first GRAMMY nomination for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album, with the winners to be unveiled on February 1 in Los Angeles.
With “GIMME MORE,” CA7RIEL and Paco delve into the boundless ambition fueling their meteoric rise. The accompanying music video captures them transitioning from their Latin GRAMMY success to a chaotic, euphoric afterparty, complete with scenes of gambling at the MGM casino, high-flying moments with magic icon David Blaine, and exhilarating escapades ranging from a strip club to a shooting range. The video culminates in a gripping visual as they set the remnants of their previous era ablaze in the desert, heralding the arrival of their transformative new album, TOP OF THE HILLS.
