Once again, we are thrilled about our partnership with the Berlin Music Video Awards, and what a magnificent celebration it was! From June 12th to 14th, the heart of Berlin pulsated with vibrant creativity, sound, and colour, as the Berlin Music Video Awards took centre stage. This festival isn’t merely another highlight in the calendar; it embodies a celebration of creativity with depth and soul.

At the core of the Berlin Music Video Awards is an independent spirit that sets it apart from the rest. Unshackled by corporate constraints and major media influences, this festival thrives on its freedom to showcase the unexpected, to take risks, and to embrace the wildly creative. The essence of authenticity runs deep, cultivated by a passionate team representing over 20 nationalities. This cultural mosaic fosters an environment that encourages inclusivity and bold artistic expression, allowing guests to be wholly and unapologetically themselves.

Each evening of the festival was infused with a unique theme, urging attendees to embody the Berlin Music Video Awards’ ethos of pushing boundaries. The opening night was a vibrant celebration of individuality under the “Express Yourself!” dress code, where guests donned striking outfits that declared their narratives. The second night brought forth “Freaky, Kinky & Bizarre,” inviting attendees to unleash their avant-garde side, flooding the venue with creative, playful, and surreal fashion. By the final night, themed “Creative Elegant / Fashionable,” the atmosphere vibrated with sophisticated boldness, proving that elegance and a daring edge can harmoniously coexist.
The festival was not only a visual feast for attendees but also a remarkable networking hub. Conversations bloomed, collaborations sparked, and creative connections formed across the venue’s atmosphere, from backstage lounges to the dance floor. It’s where future projects germinate amidst the beats and glamour, making the Berlin Music Video Awards far more than just a festival — it’s a crucible for innovative art.
Where Music Meets Fashion
At the Berlin Music Video Awards, fashion transcends mere aesthetics; it is a vital form of expression. This year’s event proudly showcased notable figures from the fashion and visual arts realm on its red carpet and within its jury panels. Among them was Lena Quist (@lenaquist), a Swedish stage-wear designer known for dressing music legends like Robbie Williams and for her dazzling contributions to the Eurovision Song Contest. Returning as a juror, Lena is not just an esteemed designer; she is cherished as part of the BMVA family, having previously closed the fashion show with her futuristic designs.
Another remarkable figure was Jedy Deady (@jedydeady), who wowed attendees with an electrifying performance and fearless fashion choices that shattered norms. Her bold, genre-bending style not only turned heads on stage but also reinforced her status as a rising star.

These influential figures didn’t just grace the event; they helped shape the ambience, underscoring the strong interconnection between music video culture and the world of fashion. This year, the festival shimmered even more brightly under their influence, affirming its place as a playground for sublime cross-disciplinary creativity.
Serving Looks, Making Links
Throughout the festival, our trophy mascots embodied the spirit of each themed evening, turning award presentations into fashion moments. On Day One, Coco Klein (@coco_klein) captured hearts as she exemplified the “Express Yourself!” theme with elegance and passion, all while making a special appearance in the nominated video “Bush” by Dornika for the Best Low Budget category.
Day Two introduced Nevrsathenia, a stunning latex model who commanded attention and brought the “Freaky and Bizarre” theme to life with her avant-garde flair. Finally, Day Three closed with Miss Sugar Rush (@misssugarrush), who beautifully highlighted the evening’s “Creative Elegant” vibe with her artful sophistication.
These hosts were not merely entertainers but exemplified the festival’s underlying spirit of creativity, connection, and expression, further underscoring that the Berlin Music Video Awards are more than just a showcase; they are a celebration of collaboration.

In this vibrant exchange zone, guests mingled, forging connections that might lead to their next artistic collaboration—whether it’s a director meeting a stylist or a designer discovering a new muse. Here, fashion and art collided to create an electric atmosphere where ideas flowed and partnerships flourished.
This memorable celebration would not have been complete without our exceptional partners, who added unique flair to the BMVA 2025 experience. The opening pool party featured Nomoo’s delightful plant-based ice cream, establishing an inviting atmosphere from the start. Event Station’s AI photo booth was a hit, giving guests a fun and innovative way to capture their memories throughout the festival. Faxe provided a refreshing selection of beverages, ensuring that festival-goers stayed hydrated as they enjoyed the festivities.
And the Winners Are…
After three thrilling nights filled with boundary-pushing performances and visuals that captivated every onlooker, the BMVA 2025 concluded in a vibrant display of artistic triumph. The array of winners—from gritty DIY gems to high-concept cinematic masterpieces—each told a compelling story, redefining the essence of visual storytelling.
The crowning jewel of the festival was Cero Ismael with “DRIVING AROUND LOOKING FOR UNKNOWN,” directed by Folkert Verdoorn & Simon Becks. Taking home the Best Music Video Award, this piece offers a meditative journey through the emotional limbo, where soft beats and melancholic chords evoke the essence of searching for meaning in the stillness of night—a tale of uncertainty and longing that resonates deeply with audiences.

In the words of Aviel Silook, the festival’s founder, “As the founder and main producer of the Berlin Music Video Awards, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to this year’s winner. This recognition is more than well-deserved. The video stood out for its artistic excellence and for the powerful story it tells, which resonates deeply with me. I am incredibly proud to see this kind of work celebrated at our festival. Thank you for reminding us why we do this.”
As we reflect on the unforgettable moments from the Berlin Music Video Awards 2025, we are filled with gratitude for the kaleidoscope of creativity experienced, and we eagerly anticipate the next celebration of artistic brilliance.
