“Both artists, in remarkably unique ways, construct what I like to refer to as the architecture of perception,” shares Sara Lily Perez, the gallery’s founder and director. “René meticulously paints with the precision of a watchmaker, while Wolfgang crafts with the dynamic energy of a moment suspended in breath. Acclaimed for his intense realism and meditative gaze, Wirths elevates everyday objects to the status of contemplative icons. His oil paintings, rendered with a combination of scientific exactness and philosophical serenity, isolate simple tools and containers within expanses of colour.
“In this fast-paced, digitised era, we retreat into our contemplative sanctuaries, our studios, to engage with the world in solitude and analogue simplicity, seeking to see ourselves mirrored within it,” he explains. His canvases pulse with a profound stillness; each brushstroke represents a moment of attention, with every surface encapsulating time decelerated to its essence.

“I design structures that suggest growth yet stop just shy of completion,” Flad elucidates. “They encapsulate fleeting bursts of energy hanging delicately between gesture and gravity.” His sculptures twist and coalesce in a state of suspended animation, echoing nature’s rhythmic pulse held in quietude.
