“Studying fashion has helped me to boost my brand. Parallel to my studies Iím a creative director and designer at ‘ROD’, who is an unisex clothing brand, which is characterized by androgynous aesthetics. My main reference is the generation Z, the generation that was born next to the technology. I think the most important thing is to know what is happening with the real people, we are in a society that is betting on an individual identity. New silhouettes are not defined by a particular genre. The contemporary user needs comfort, functionality and authenticity. No stereotypes. My atemporal collection called ‘CNX’ is inspired by the spiritual connection. The patterns of the prints and laser cuts evoke that everything is connected. The color palette represents the meaning in color psychology to create the outfits; White represents purity, fuchsia self-love, blue spiritual balance, silver life and black represents the union, making illusion to the connection on which the designs are based.”says designer Rod Aguilera.
