We now consume 60% more garments than we did in 2000 but, with one in 3 disposing of our outfits after 3 wears, clothing has lost its value and has become a commodity in our disposal world. By 2050 we will need three times the amount of resources to keep up with the demands; will be able to slow fashion down before we exhaust our planet?” says Maddy Temple.
