Dive into Transformation: Bhumi’s Ocean-Inspired Jewelry Journey

In a world where fashion often ignores the beauty of diversity, Bhumi emerges as a beacon of hope, championing mid- and plus-sized women with exquisite couture that celebrates real bodies. Drawing inspiration from an era that revered fuller figures, Bhumi’s creations highlight every curve, bust, and unique texture, honourably embodying the stories that shape us.

The latest collection, Bathe in The Waters, redefines the essence of jewellery, transforming it into an art form that tells narratives of renewal and liberation. Each piece acts as a conduit for personal metamorphosis, evoking imagery of stepping into shimmering waters and leaving burdens behind. Inspired by the ethereal flowers of the sea and the gems that dwell within the ocean, this collection pays tribute to the raw beauty of nature and implores us to cherish what is gradually disappearing in our rapidly changing environment.

Founded by the visionary @emmavanengelen, Bhumi seamlessly blends art, technology, and inclusivity, reshaping beauty into a sacred ritual of self-adornment and empowerment. The hallmark of the Bathe in the Waters line is its sustainable approach, with each piece crafted from 3D-printed biodegradable PLA filament—an eco-friendly material derived from renewable resources like cornstarch. This commitment to sustainability not only diminishes waste but allows for an innovative on-demand production process, revolutionizing the way we create, wear, and experience jewelry.

On February 24, 2025, Bhumi partnered with Anycubic for a groundbreaking launch event that transformed a gallery into a mesmerizing oceanic dreamscape. Attendees were immersed in an environment where live siren songs resonated, waves of fabric and LED lights mimicked an underwater paradise, and a captivating display of Bhumi’s Siren Bags appeared to have washed ashore. Guests marvelled as Anycubic’s 3D printers brought the collection to life in real time, offering a sneak peek into the future of on-demand fashion.

Complemented by artisan drinks from Living Things and Niche Cocktails, and with the first 50 attendees receiving exclusive Wonderskin gift bags, the evening epitomized the fusion of fashion, technology, and sustainability.

Bathe in the Waters is not just a jewellery collection; it’s a transformational ritual empowering self-expression and embracing the delicate beauty found within ocean flora. Under Emma van Engelen’s stewardship, Bhumi is poised to push further into the realms of art, technology, and inclusivity, setting the pace for an innovative future in sustainable fashion production.
