Due to ongoing russian terrorist attacks on Ukraine’s critical energy infrastructure, the Organizing Committee of Ukrainian Fashion Week has decided to reschedule the FW26–27 season from February 5–8 to March 12–15, 2026.

Considering technical constraints and the overall challenging situation with Kyiv’s energy system, Ukrainian Fashion Week FW26–27 will now take place in March, following Paris Fashion Week.

“The Ukrainian fashion industry is facing unprecedented challenges, yet we continue moving forward and preparing for the new season, as fashion remains a vital force in Ukraine’s cultural diplomacy and economy”, says Iryna Danylevska, Founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week.

Ukrainian Fashion Week has a rich history that dates back to its inception in 1997. This year, it artfully intertwines legacy and innovation, showcasing both veteran designers who’ve been part of the journey since day one and fresh talent highlighted through the New Names program. Among the rising stars are the finalists from last year’s Look into the Future young designers’ contest. This amalgamation of experience and youthful creativity embodies the resilience of the Ukrainian fashion community, which continues to evolve and flourish, nurturing emerging talent and influencing the global fashion stage.

What sets this season apart is the emphasis on sustainability and innovation amidst adversity. Ukrainian designers are crafting collections that not only address the current landscape shaped by the realities of war but also present a beacon of hope through responsible and forward-thinking practices. As Iryna Danylevska, Founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week, eloquently expresses, “At a time when the world is changing at an unprecedented speed, and we are facing unprecedented challenges, Ukrainian fashion demonstrates the capacity for profound reflection, innovation, and sustainable development.” This commitment to creativity and responsibility aligns with global calls for environmental and social awareness in fashion, making their offerings not just clothing, but visions for a better future.

A highlight of Ukrainian Fashion Week FW26-27 will be the “Art of Fashion: Sustainable Innovations” exhibition at Mystetskyi Arsenal. Here, brands such as BEVZA, J’AMEMME, KSENIASCHNAIDER, and many others will showcase their stunning looks created with an emphasis on upcycling, recycling, and innovative technologies. One standout piece is a creation by NADYA DZYAK, developed through the Kering S|STYLE – DENIM LAB initiative, spotlighting cutting-edge material innovation.

Charity remains at the heart of Ukrainian Fashion Week, with initiatives like Faces of Heroes continuing to support veterans impacted by facial injuries. Designers and guests will have the unique opportunity to contribute to this meaningful cause in partnership with the YANKO Charitable Foundation. Additionally, the Portrait Gallery of Defenders will honour industry members who have bravely taken up arms to defend Ukraine, now in its fourth season and supported by ready2wear.agency.

As part of the ongoing commitment to nurturing the next generation of talent, INTERTOP Ukraine has joined forces with Ukrainian Fashion Week to present the Culture of Design initiative. This collaboration will reward a young designer with a UAH 150,000 prize and the chance to showcase a collection in a major retail store. The winner will be announced on February 7, further illuminating the bright future of Ukrainian fashion.

In a world where uncertainty looms, Ukrainian Fashion Week FW26-27 serves as a powerful reminder of the strength found in creativity, collaboration, and community support. Now, more than ever, it is crucial to rally together and uplift our friends in Ukraine as they continue to innovate and inspire on a global scale.
