“Escapism is the tale of the pursuit of a freedom that our mind withholds from us. It is the story of those who teeter between despair and instability, caught in the paradox of seeking meaning. It is both an exaltation of the grandeur of the human spirit and a reflection on the misery that shapes us in our quest for essence.
This project explores the fusion of fragility and strength, with people dressed as dolls in an environment reminiscent of the Dollhouse in Rome. The key visual elements – the cage, feathers, and corsets – symbolize restriction, vulnerability, and control, creating a contrast between beauty and confinement.”
