CHRISTIANE GRIMM

About the Artists

Christiane Grimm (1957, Stuttgart, DE)
With a creative journey beginning in the mid-1980s, Christiane Grimm translates the subtleties of colour and light into immersive spaces. A trained architect turned self-taught artist, Grimm utilizes an eclectic array of materials, from oils and acrylics to Perspex and antique glass. Her art delves into visual objects and architectural light sculptures, probing how lighting and material influence colour perception. Her use of milky ribbed glass transforms light into a spectrum of hues, creating a sensual interplay of colour, composition, space, and illumination.
