DANCÆ X Chlär elevates the performance art landscape by integrating live electronic music and a unique spatial sound installation by d&b audiotechnik, where each dancer becomes an extension of the soundscape, generating movement born from rhythm.
From solo works, like Elizaveta Poliakova’s introspective piece The Flag, which ponders balance amid instability, to a striking new ballet showcasing the interplay of human and machine consciousness, this event explores our intimate relationship with automation, co-creation, and the essence of existence.

Choreographed by the visionary duo Soraya Schulthess and Renato De Leon, whose innovative styles are deftly woven into each performance, the experience transcends mere observation, inviting audiences to engage with the potent themes of autonomy and resistance in our technology-driven age.
An accompanying art exhibition deepens the experience, facilitating rich, interdisciplinary engagement that extends the evening beyond the performance itself.

Join them at the Haus der Visionäre and become part of a transformative exploration of rhythm, sound, and movement in an era defined by its complexities. This is more than just a performance; it’s a call to engage, reflect, and experience the future of dance.

About Chlär
Known for his driving, percussive sets, Chlär represents the forefront of Europe’s new generation of techno artists. Chlär is a Swiss-born electronic music producer and DJ currently based in Berlin. He combines groove sensitivity with forward-thinking performance techniques, often improvising across multiple decks and seamlessly blending original productions into his sets. His discography includes releases on labels such as Bipolar Disorder Rec., Lobster Theremin, and Voltage, and his oeuvre reflects a strong interest in techno’s deeper, more hypnotic dimensions.
About d&b audiotechnik
d&b audiotechnik is one of the world’s leading sound system manufacturers, known for its precision, clarity, and immersive spatial technology. Its d&b Soundscape system allows sound to move freely through a space, creating the sensation of being inside the music rather than simply listening to it. Instead of a traditional left–right stereo field, Soundscape positions each sound source within a three-dimensional environment, enabling an almost sculptural experience of sound. Used in leading opera houses, concert halls, and experimental art spaces worldwide, it offers a level of detail and spatial depth that transforms listening into a physical encounter.
About Elizaveta Poliakova
Elizaveta Poliakova studied classical ballet for nine years, including seven years in the Moscow State Choreography Academy of the Bolshoi Theatre. She later studied literature and history for five years at Moscow State University. After completing her studies, she relocated to Berlin to pursue contemporary dance. Last years she performed, among others, works such as „The shape of a dream“ by Sasa Queliz and „Now“ and „Maybe Tomorrow“ by Johannes Wieland as well as solo works: „Your own voice“ in collaboration with Sasha Pushkin (music) and Camille Schaeffer (sculptures), „Grass of Oblivion“ and „Instead of a Letter“. In her work, she often draws inspiration from her background in literature as a philologist and poet.
About Ballet Sur_real
Ballet Sur_real, co-created by Soraya Schulthess and Renato De Leon in 2023, is the official ballet ensemble of DANCÆ. The ensemble’s work combines classical ballet with electronic music, integrating immersive installations and innovative technologies into its choreographic language. Their creations draw on contemporary life while delving into the deeper psychological motives that drive human behaviour.
About Felix Kiessling
Felix Kiessling graduated from the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and the Institute for Spatial Experiment,s founded by Olafur Eliasson, who was his mentor during his master’s studies in 2014. His practice is marked by extensive field research and a deep investigation of environmental forces. Many of his works explore notions of space, time, emptiness, weight, and gravity. He describes his artistic material as existing at the intersection of what we see, what we individually construct, and the realities that surround us.
