Fendi and Nugnes: Bari’s Chic Preview for S/S 2026

The Nugnes boutique in Bari recently hosted an exclusive event for the Fendi Spring/Summer 2026 Pre-Collection, captivating a select audience of one hundred guests with an immersive blend of fashion, music, and gastronomy. Designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi, the collection showcased a striking interplay of glamour and nostalgia.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of the Murattiano district, the boutique turned into a multisensory experience. Guests enjoyed a vinyl DJ set alongside exquisite cuisine crafted by Hagakure, paired with premium champagne. The evening promised a rendezvous of style and taste, successfully curated to elevate the atmosphere.

A striking window display featured a mannequin in a black-and-beige polka-dot strapless dress, surrounded by colourful umbrellas, embodying the “social butterflies” theme of the SS 2026 collection. The visual display, a combination of disco-inspired hues such as turquoise, mandarin, and powder pink, highlighted the balance between elegance and playful 1980s inspiration.

The collection artfully merges contrasts, featuring sharp blazers alongside whimsical “ra-ra” skirts and luxe taffeta trousers paired with chic silk parkas. Accessories also captured attention, with unique embroidered Baguette bags and the new Fendi Verse tote.

Through this event, Nugnes reinforces its position as a cultural touchstone in Southern Italy, blending tradition with avant-garde fashion. Fendi’s vision emphasises that true style is steeped in memory and transformation, transcending mere aesthetics.
