In a dystopian future where sensation is regulated and memory is digital, one hybrid body reclaims control through flesh. FLESH+CTRL is a black-and-white analogue editorial exploring post-human sensuality, rebellion, and transformation. The model becomes a living interface — marked with tattoo stencils, adorned in upcycled denim, fetish lace, and salvaged jewellery. Each piece is a relic of a lost world, worn to spark emotion, memory, and physical presence in an era of disconnection. This shoot is a study in contrast: softness and sharpness, skin and system, intimacy and power. A visual ode to the cyber witch, the alien rebel, the last sensual body holding onto what it means to feel.
Inès Jacquinot is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary creative, stylist, designer, and all-around project maker. She loves creating with friends and uplifting fellow creatives, remembering why this work is meaningful in the first place. This editorial sparked spontaneously when tattoo artist Avant Gardener was in town, and photographer Javier Cerrada, with whom Inès had long wanted to collaborate, joined the project. Featuring exclusively independent Berlin designers, it celebrates the city’s underground creative energy.
Javier Alejandro Cerrada is a Venezuelan photographer based in Berlin, who captures fleeting moments and Berlin’s chaotic energy, blending intimacy with painterly light. Avant Gardener turns subconscious stories into tattoos that move with the body, obsessively crafted and alive. Together with the rest of the team, they transformed a fleeting moment in Berlin into a vivid, collaborative vision.
