Jovanna Tosello is a 2D visual artist and freelance editorial illustrator based in New York City. Tosello adapts her inner psyche through a disjointed narrative. ‘There’s an alluring charm with illustration and animation. They have a unique ability to represent the world however you like. I enjoy blending the line between figurative representation and abstraction. I am fascinated with exploring this tension between psychedelic and surrealist elements that unveil a narrative progression that follows its own internal logic. One image gives birth into another. Scenes fold into themselves just as one’s mind wanders. Dreams become nightmares, fears bleed into delusion.’
