DIRECTOR BIOS:
Ellie and Isabella are a directing and choreography duo with a rich background in movement direction and choreography. Their partnership began in 2017 when they crossed paths on a dance program in the Middle East. On a desert camping trip with the Bedouins, a serendipitous moment and an impromptu moonlight haircut marked the beginning of their collaborative journey. The essence of their filmmaking is in human connection and tapping into the surreal. E & I like to play with how a performer’s connection to their body, their trust in themself, and their daringness to get vulnerable can enhance their performance. They’re excited to be starting a new journey under the representation of Blend Films and are looking forward to broadening their scope of work.
David Spearing is a British director, editor and DP with over ten years experience in the film, TV, publishing and music industries. He started his career touring the world with the legendary UK group; McFly. He quickly gained recognition and went from shooting behind the scenes to helming multi-cam concert films and directing music videos for multiple artists. His debut concert film “TourPlay” was released across cinemas nationwide and went on to be a No.1 best-selling DVD, certified gold in sales. More recently David served as cinematographer on P! NK’s documentary “All I Know So Far” for Amazon Prime. He was then asked to direct P!NK’s latest music video for her song “All Out Of Fight” in 2023. David’s distinct visual style, balancing both surreal concepts and heartfelt storytelling, has garnered many awards and nominations for his work.
