Gender Bender by Tobias Valentin

A KALTBLUT exclusive menswear fashion editorial. Model is Emil Athari. Photography by Tobias Valentin. A Copenhagen-based photographer working in a spectrum between fashion and fine art. Being a feminist and using hybrid techniques and fashion aesthetics, his work often revolves around body, gender and sexuality. Inspired by queer theory, this editorial is a critique of heteronormative structures, exploring and playing with gender as a social construction. The punk aesthetics and mixed-media elements reflect the deconstruction and disruption of the patriarchal and heteronormative gender norms.
