With ‘Communicate it,’ GIMI showcases a more introspective dimension, inviting listeners on a compelling journey that examines self-worth and the quest for validation. This captivating track beautifully articulates the complexities of seeking value through the eyes of another, creating a relatable narrative that resonates deeply.
Fresh from an electrifying performance at SPOT Festival, where GIMI captivated a full house with an exclusive sneak peek of his upcoming debut album set to release on November 7th, anticipation for his music continues to grow!
Talking about ‘Communicate it’, GIMI explains, “I wrote this song about this deep-rooted need I have for validation. It’s about how we often seek self-worth through the attention of others, turning casual hookups into a search for approval and trying to find your value in someone else’s desire.”
In addition to this new release, GIMI gained recognition with two songs featured in the highly anticipated queer romantic drama ‘Sauna,’ directed by Mathias Broe, a landmark film in Danish cinema for its historic inclusion of the first trans lead in a feature film.
