In the F/W24 collection, Henrik Vibskov’s team channels the essence of daily escapes, those small acts or rituals serving as personal therapy. Reflecting life’s current delicacy, people’s coping mechanisms—from immersion in digital realms to equine-assisted therapy—were the crucible for inspiration.
Vibskov’s design narrative materializes through a collage of paper cut-outs that dance with negative space, bestowing upon the silhouettes a sense of the extraordinary. Oversized shoulders drape backwards to meet each other, while overstated elbow and knee structures pepper the collection. Ethereal, translucent pieces create a stark contrast against the richness of heavy jacquards, enveloping the body in a cocoon of deep, thoughtful hues.
