A KALTBLUT exclusive. “He’s My Best friend” features engaged South African models Armand Dicker and Anthony Hinrichsen. Filipino photographer Alvin Chua’s images capture the queer couple in Malaysia, a country with strict anti-LGBTQ laws, in moments of tenderness. Navigating the beautiful city of Kuala Lumpur, with its restrictive and prejudiced laws, they use the foundation of friendship to showcase their love.

Anthony has a background in film and content production, and Armand, the head designer of his clothing label Dicker, started his career as a stylist. Beyond modelling they work together in creative direction and styling of editorials with a focus on showcasing the work of designers local to regions they are in, working specifically with photographers that are female and/or members of the LGBTQI+ community.
