In “Horses in the Hills”, Sebastian Jacobsen explores what it might be like for two young royals to escape their duties, to breathe and to be free amongst the horses in the nearby hills. Here, the sisters share a kind of melancholic peace –knowing soon they must return to the pressures of their world. Additionally, tying together concept and reality, the shoot took place in front of the countryside home of the Norwegian Royals in Asker, Norway.
