This editorial delves into the complex facets of human personality, exploring themes such as gender identity, desire, madness, and self-love. These questions form the foundation of the subject’s transformations, embodying an internal conflict between light and shadow, strength and fragility. The constructed outfits, made of leather, denim and metal, symbolize resilience and vulnerability. The character’s fluid identity blurs the boundaries between masculine and feminine, illustrating a constant quest for self-reinvention. Inspired by the worlds of Tim Burton, David Fincher, and the Wachowski sisters, this project examines the limits between reality and imagination, reflecting on the fluidity of being.

Jérémie Chaberty:
“Since the age of 10, I have been evolving in different artistic worlds. I first began by training professionally in circus, then in dance, and finally in theatre, which allowed me to flourish in my creativity and artistic sensitivity. I acquired technical movement skills and a wide range of stage expressions through this. Today, I aim to create art that blends these disciplines, exploring new ways to merge and capture them through photography or video.”
Xavier Murillon:
“I am a French photographer and actor based in Paris. My photographic work is very influenced by my theatre and cinema background, I focus on emotion and movement to tell stories with and of the people I photograph. I tend to work with other actors or artists as I find communication easiest with them as we speak the same language of creativity. I started with self-portraiture and have tried to keep this aspect of intimacy in my work even while working with bigger teams. I have started to shift more towards fashion and implementing my emotional sensitivity in this field to forge my path forward; creating images that are hopefully visually striking as well as moving and delicate.”
