If you’ve ever wanted to relive the wild, carefree days of your childhood (but with a serious punk twist), JENN LEE’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection was the show to see at London Fashion Week. Packed with retro vibes and playful energy, this collection was like a nostalgia-filled joyride straight back to the days of finger-painting and finding random treasures in your pockets.
JENN LEE’s creative process? She literally crumpled up paper and let the wrinkles and shapes do the talking! Her designs came to life with unstructured silhouettes, funky geometric shapes, and brushstrokes that looked like they were applied with a sense of who cares, let’s have fun! Styled by Callum Smith, the collection still had JENN LEE’s signature deconstructed coolness, but this time with playful folds, exposed seams, and her iconic heart-shaped zippers. Structure, meet spontaneity.
But let’s talk accessories—because JENN LEE took “forgotten treasure” to a whole new level. Imagine finding an old receipt in your jacket pocket and thinking, “Hey, this could totally be a necklace.” Yup, she encased everyday objects in resin, turning random stuff into wearable art. Forget diamonds, we’re all about pocket trinkets now.
Then there’s the collaboration with ATELIER MOWA, a French embroidery artist who brought 3D embroidered headpieces to the runway. These headpieces, inspired by Chinese calligraphy, were pure haute couture but with a punky, rebellious edge. The ink was allowed to bleed and get messy, totally shattering the rules of traditional calligraphy. Who knew embroidery could be so rock ‘n’ roll?
Oh, and in case that wasn’t enough to get people talking, JENN LEE brought wellness into the fashion mix. Partnering with Taiwan’s cosmetic acupuncture brand, SALIENT, she gave the models acupuncture treatments before the show. Yes, you heard that right—acupuncture. Three models even hit the runway still rocking their needles! It was wellness-meets-fashion, and honestly, it was the kind of bold, unexpected look only JENN LEE could pull off.

And what’s a runway show without some killer hair? JENN LEE teamed up with Taiwan’s top hairstylist—and her husband—DENNIS FEI, who crafted windswept, rebellious styles that totally matched the collection’s carefree, playful vibe. It wasn’t just a creative partnership—it was a literal fashion power couple moment that gave the show an extra layer of authenticity and heart.
JENN LEE’s SS25 show was all about breaking the rules, having fun, and reminding us that fashion can be a playground for creativity. If you didn’t leave feeling inspired to crumple some paper and see what happens, were you even paying attention?
