Ever wonder what the world would look like if Pikachu, Mewtwo and Togepi became fashion girlies? Well, wonder no more as designer Jimmy Paul just made Pokémon fans and fashion groupies’ dreams come true with a collaboration screaming gotta wear ‘em all!

On Saturday, February 21st, JimmyPaul dropped a Pokémon Prêt-à-Porter collection made exclusively for Pokémon Centre, in collaboration with DIFUZED.

Yes, it’s real. And yes, it slaps.

Ash Ketchum may have hung up his baseball cap, but the world is far from done with Pokémon as we celebrate 30 years of Pokémon. JimmyPaul took the fantasy they first unleashed at London Fashion Week, their ROAM runway moment inspired by their favourite Pokémon, and evolved it into something you can actually wear outside without needing a front row invite.

Couture drama? Still there. Now it just comes with Pikachu embroidered pockets.

That iconic little yellow rodent is naturally the main character. Obviously. Think Japanese workwear silhouettes remixed with 80s voltage. Punchy graphics. Electric colour. Big energy. The kind of pieces that walk into the room before you do.

It’s bold. It’s cheeky. It’s “don’t touch my Thunderbolt fur coat, babes.”

Enter Eevee. The fox of the forest. Floral dreamscapes. Gentle palettes. Romantic shapes with backbone. It’s sweet but self-assured. Pastel but powerful. The fashion equivalent of evolving whenever you feel like it. Soft doesn’t always mean subtle.

Then there’s Mew and Mewtwo. The psychic power houses in pink-washed futurism. ’90s streetwear. Racing graphics. Tough-cute silhouettes that feel like they belong in a Tokyo arcade.

It’s playful. It’s a little unhinged. It’s unstoppable. It absolutely knows it looks good.

This whole drop feels like stepping inside a fashion multiverse where nostalgia meets high drama, and somehow it’s wearable enough for coffee runs, gallery nights, or just flexing on your heavily stylised grids.

In summation, thirty years in, Pokémon isn’t just a game. It’s a way of life. And JimmyPaul just dressed it for us.

The collection is available now exclusively via Pokémon Centre in the U.S., CA, UK, NZ and AU.
