Julien Boudet Captures the Sartorial Stardom of Suicoke S/S21 and Creates the brand’s First Instagram Filter

From Paris and New York to Milan, London and beyond – Julien Boudet is best known as the lensman behind some of the most iconic street style imagery in recent history and has established himself in the art photography world with a number of projects and exhibitions that merge pop art and photo realism in an installation-like environment.

His spontaneous, yet perfectionist eye perfectly captures the candid moments before and after fashion shows that would otherwise escape the everyday view. This season, he is turning his lens to Suicoke’s SS21 collection as he snaps some of the key styles in a real-world context of Parisian streets.

Boudet’s leading lady in this photographic series is Vanille Verloës, a stylist and model whose contemporary take on noughties fashion has already caught the gaze of established publications like Vogue and Madame Figaro. With her eclectic blend of classic and sexy style codes, Verlöes effortlessly embodies the chic French woman on the go. The latest of Suicoke’s sandals and slides complete this vision by adding a sense of sport and action to the mix.

Along with the photographs, Boudet worked on creating the first ever Suicoke Instagram filter in the form of a branded shark eating your face. The animalistic presence reflects on the shape of the Urich rubber sandal from the collection, as worn by Verlöes in one of the looks.
