K-WAY R&D Fall/Winter 2024

Amid the captivating energy of Milan Fashion Week, K-Way took centre stage to unveil its latest collection for the FW24-25 season. Set against the stunning backdrop of BasicVillage Milan, the headquarters of BasicNet Group, the event transformed the space into a chic, minimalist sanctuary adorned with the captivating artistic installations of Anna Franceschini.

The collection itself served as a masterclass in innovation, with an array of colours, shapes, and materials that epitomized K-Way’s dedication to high-quality design and functional elegance. The spotlight was on the iconic Le Vrai 3.0 jackets, crafted from waterproof and breathable fabrics, which made a resounding statement in various styles and sizes, ranging from sleek raincoats to urban-chic windbreakers, and even extending to stylish skirts and bags. The signature three-colour zipper, a striking emblem of the brand, infused each ensemble with an arresting contrast and dynamic flair, complemented by geometric quilting that adorned an array of garments and accessories, from coats to tops, skirts, trousers, and beyond.

Sustainability took centre stage as well, with the collection showcasing an exquisite blend of sustainable furs, scuba, sumptuous velvet, and luxurious wool, resulting in a rich tapestry of textures that artfully mirrored the boundless creativity and adaptability of K-Way’s research and development line. Every material was thoughtfully selected and ethically sourced, underscoring the brand’s unwavering dedication to environmental and social responsibility. Embracing a spirit of fearless experimentation, the collection invited its audience to engage in the art of layering, encouraging the playful mixing and matching of elements to curate distinctive, yet remarkably practical ensembles.
