As the daughter of a Martinican father and a Belgian-Congolese mother (the renowned artist Zap Mama), K.ZIA was immersed in an artistic environment from a young age. She took to the stage early, performing as a background singer on tour with her mother and in theatre and circus shows alongside her father. Her debut album “Genesis” (2022) reached a milestone with over 2.5 million streams and received accolades from notable media outlets like Rolling Stone, Elle, and Vogue. In 2023, she expanded her artistic repertoire with her acting debut in the film “Les Vengeances de Maître Poutifard” and released the deeply personal EP “Kintsugi Heart,” where she openly discusses her experiences with depression and her healing journey.
