KAWAKEY has elegantly unveiled its Fall/Winter 2025 collection, aptly entitled “Aging Like Fine Wine,” during the illustrious Paris Fashion Week. The collection is a testament to the brand’s innovative storytelling through engineered prints that captivate and convey profound emotions and ideas. Based in London and Helsinki, KAWAKEY masterfully deconstructs and reimagines genderless wardrobe staples, skillfully blending elements from Scandinavian and Asian cultures.
This collection stands on a remarkable foundation of minimalistic cuts rendered in unexpected proportions, crafted from simple yet luxurious eco-conscious fabrics. Each piece features bespoke meticulous prints designed by KAWAKEY’s talented in-house team.
Key, a Royal College of Art alumnus with a Master’s in Fashion Menswear, gained recognition as a finalist at the H&M Design Award, showcasing his graduate collection at the “DOUBLE JE” contemporary art exhibition in Palais de Tokyo, Paris. Meanwhile, Finnish-born Jarno, with a diverse artistic background and a Master’s degree in Arts, translates KAWAkEY’s distinctive design ethos into lyrical visuals, films, performances, and various artistic endeavours.
