“With this fashion shoot, we wanted to celebrate the nightlife in a fictitious kind of underground club (year & location unknown). The club is named: Life Is A Riot. We wanted to show the kind of diversity & freedom you can experience in such clubs. Our models feature certain archetypes … creating a presumed in-crowd.
Likewise, we wanted to reflect that specific sensation you can get just before the lights go on. The club is going to close. Real life hits you. The mask goes on or off again. Inspiration is taken from these songs: Ultravox – Dancing With Tears In My Eyes and Grace Jones – Nightclubbing.”
