I studied fashion design at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM), where my work was often strongly concept-driven. During one of my collections, I began working with latex — a material that has fascinated me ever since.”
“What drew me to latex was not only its physical qualities, but also the way it can evoke fragility, tension, and transformation. I was particularly inspired by the image of decaying flowers — their soft collapse, their forms seeming to grow outward, almost alien to the body. For me, these wilting shapes became a metaphor for the slow internal decay of emotion — how feelings erode over time, yet remain present, protruding and reshaping the self.
To explore this language further, I founded Lilies of the Valley — a label and creative project where I allow myself greater freedom to experiment. It serves as a space for my most personal and exploratory work, especially in relation to material, body, and emotion.” *Lilies of the valley
