“The ‘Limited Space’ series is built around the idea of a figure that has outgrown its space. Through exaggerated proportions and sculptural silhouettes, the body appears too large for the environment that continues to constrain it. Architectural elements and imposed barriers function as abstract limits, pressing against the figure and revealing tension through scale, weight, and posture rather than narrative.”
About the photographer: Anastasiia Marinich is a photographer working between fashion, portrait and conceptual imagery. Through restrained gestures, muted colour palettes, and tactile details, her work explores themes of vulnerability, limitation, and quiet resistance. Rather than constructing explicit narratives, she is interested in atmosphere, sensation, and the psychological state of being.
Anastasiia’s visual language draws from cinematic aesthetics and contemporary romanticism, balancing elegance with discomfort, softness with tension.
