Remember that one toy you loved more than anything? Then you grew up, and the games just… stopped. What happens to a doll when the world moves on without it? This is a story of lingering melancholy, the ache of being unable to let go of the person who meant everything. Consumed by solitude, the doll is left with nothing but shadows and the clothes their owner used to dress them in, playing dress-up with ghosts of better days.
Alex Chañi is a Peruvian photographer and Creative Director who went to Barcelona for a season to improve his fashion photography lighting skills and build a great network to work with. He met Sandra, a great makeup artist who fell in love with the project, and Felix Cabero, the stylist who made this a reality.
