The LOVELETTER collection is a poetic devotion to love. Based on the Spherical Human philosophy by Plato, which aims to engender mutual love, the collection celebrates the beauty of life. She is a strong, powerful, and enamored woman, longing to see her beloved one. It is a hopeful anticipation and in her fantasy, while she is writing a love letter, he is already with her.
In her love letter, she explains why he is her other half: The Spherical Human philosophy. It is the Platonic idea that humans were once spherical beings with two heads, four arms, and four legs. When they became too powerful, the gods split them in two. To become whole, humans need to find their lost other half. Asymmetrical cuts underline the different characters of the loved ones. Through layerings, openings, and ribbons these personalities create a whole.
