Mandarina Duck proudly presents its latest capsule collection, “Sandokan – The Journey is the Story,” designed to celebrate the newly released TV series inspired by Emilio Salgari’s iconic hero. This collaboration, produced by Lux Vide in partnership with Rai Fiction, highlights the spirit of travel as an exotic adventure.
Chief Marketing Officer Maristella Cervellera emphasises the essence of the collection: “The collaboration with Sandokan was born from the idea of merging two worlds that share the same essence: travel as an experience of freedom, identity, and discovery. Our storytelling with Sandokan stems from the desire to connect two worlds with the same DNA, that of travel.”

The collection features six striking suitcase designs, including the reimagined Logoduck+ model available in two unique colour schemes that reflect the symbolic elements of the series. Inspired by the vibrant landscapes of Borneo, these cases are adorned with the series logo and textures reminiscent of the Tigers of Malaysia. Each suitcase serves as a “visual passport,” telling stories through its distinctive design, with options available in three sizes: Beauty, Cabin, and Medium.
Additionally, five exclusive luggage tags pay homage to the series’ main characters: Sandokan, Yanez, Lord Brooke, Marianna, and Sergeant Murray, transforming each suitcase into a unique storytelling vessel.

Cervellera beautifully encapsulates the collection’s philosophy: “With this collection, the suitcase becomes not just a container, but a narrative symbol to live, share, and remember. The payoff, The Journey is the Story captures this philosophy: every journey is a personal tale.”
The Sandokan capsule collection stands as a homage to the art of travel, inviting adventurers to explore the allure of mystery and the excitement of discovering new and uncharted destinations, whether in bustling cities or serene natural landscapes.
