Marcel Ostertag Spring/Summer 2026 – PARADISE

Marcel Ostertag’s latest collection, unveiled at Berlin Fashion Week, is a tribute to togetherness and the joy of celebration. It artfully merges opulent baroque details with vivid 1970s silhouettes, while incorporating the rebellious spirit of 1990s rave culture. This intriguing blend creates a collection that is both striking and evocative.

The designer presents a dynamic interplay of ornate floral motifs set against graphic shapes and sleek black patent leather. Flowing dresses featuring corsage details are displayed alongside bold, oversized blazers crafted from woven brocade. Patterns inspired by tiles, paisley, and florals offer a fresh visual narrative, while 1970s suits adorned with baroque prints and fluttering silk dresses contribute to a diverse range of looks, each telling its own unique story.

Sustainability Commitment

For nearly two decades, Marcel Ostertag and his team have pioneered sustainable practices in the German fashion landscape. Recognising sustainability’s growing importance, Ostertag has long contemplated the question: “Can luxury be sustainable?” His response is a resounding “Yes.”

The collection heavily utilises Dead Stock Fabrics, premium materials sourced from luxury brands that have already been produced. More than 70 per cent of the collection comprises these existing materials, promoting resource efficiency and minimising over-production.

In addition, a lifelong repair service is offered to ensure that favourite pieces can be cherished for many seasons to come, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to sustainability. True sustainability, according to Ostertag, stems from respect—respect for clothing, individuals, and the environment.

Marcel Ostertag’s new collection not only leaves an impression but also signifies a meaningful step forward in the world of fashion at Berlin Fashion Week.
