Lifestyle brand UGG® was seen in the Martine Rose Fall/Winter 2023 fashion show during Pitti Uomo in Florence, Italy. Martine Rose reimagined one of the UGG® brand’s outdoor slippers by hand-dying its signature sheepskin.

The brand’s characteristic silhouette was interpreted through the spirit of club-era customization – which derived from Rose’s homage to the impact of this culture in a presentation that evokes the era’s louche nightclubbing environment.
The featured UGG® style is the Fuzz Sugar Clog, which is one of the brand’s latest sustainability-focused staples. Thoughtfully designed with the environmental footprint in mind, the Fuzz Sugar Clog is crafted from low-impact, plant-based, and recycled materials with offsets for the small number of emissions they create – making the materials carbon-neutral. Adapting the brand’s signature look and feel, its soft plush upper uses TENCEL™ Lyocell sourced from responsibly harvested trees, while the SugarSole™ midsole is made with renewable sugarcane and the durable outsole features 50% recycled rubber.
“I’m really excited to work with UGG this season,” said designer Martine Rose. “When you think about rebellion and the rebels of the 80s and 90s, you envision power and a stance about them. The shoes you wear transport you to new opportunities, new parties, and new environments. Strength starts from the ground up, here I wanted to add a touch of softness to the feet. I decided to work with UGG as they are such an iconic brand this season they are moving from strength to strength.
