Monika Mrońska. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań (BFA, Poland), Accademia Italiana in Florence ( MFA, Italy) and Academy of Photography in Warsaw.
“In my works fashion and photography intertwine and form an inseparable whole, because all the clothes that I use in my photo sessions are designed by me. Some of the projects, like knitwear, are also made by me.
I always think in two ways. When I design clothes, I think about how I will photograph those projects. When I plan the photo project, I wonder what clothes I should design for the frames I have in my head. I’m also a big cinema lover and movies have always had a huge impact on me and my works. I also draw inspiration from wild nature that I love.”
