“For me, it’s important to convey that everything is connected through quantum space and we are all linked through each other’s actions. There’re a lot of problems in life due to miscommunication in various forms. Firstly, miscommunication with ourselves and our bodies, then with the earth which shows in our lack of care about the environment around us, further we lose touch with society thinking there’s always some sort of attack to expect and hence desire to fight with the boundaries that are being put on us. Once you are free from all of the noise of miscommunication, you reach a stable loving mental state.

This project is about the different stages in life we are going through. I have named them servant, elf, queer and aristocrat. Each stage involves different lessons my characters are learning. Servants are accustomed to receiving their source of dopamine through co-dependency and putting other people first and forgetting about themselves and their true desires. Their life is looped around the societal gaze that keeps them focused on what they can do for others. In this stage, there’s a lack of self-love and awareness of what our bodies and mind need. After self-reflection, my characters move to the next stage of being elfs where they reconnect with nature and develop sensitivity to the world through tuning in with their life mission. This involves the exploration of how the world functions and how it correlates with their role. Progress is inevitable which leads them to rebel against the system they live in, queer stage. Their mindset transforms through breaking age, body and gender boundaries. This scene is photographed in the club to document the rave scene, encapsulating raw bodies and spirits ready to stand against expectations from them. The final stage of the character involves submergence into a high vibrational state filled with love and joy, when no boundaries exist which allows the manifestation of anything you desire in life.”
