Continuing our mixtape saga, this week features the eclectic might of Antonia XM! Hailing from Vienna, Austria, and currently planted in the creative soils of Berlin, Antonia is a multifaceted artist who both curates beats and crafts them. As a singer, producer, DJ, and the innovative mind behind the label Ashida Park, established in 2016, she’s there to provide a haven for the burgeoning scenes of club and experimental tunes, intermingled with visual and digital artistry.
Her sonic offerings span a vast landscape of sounds, balancing between raw, intimate vocals and the unrestrained opulence of contemporary clubs. Antonia’s mixing prowess and her own works are an odyssey through emotive soundscapes and thought-provoking reveries.
This mix is supposed to be a little trip through the different genres (and bpm) I like to play at the club: some weird electronic stuff, a lot of bouncy tracks and breaks, cute harsh kicks, silly samples and edm vibes, emo melancholia and some unexpected secret third thing in between.
