Introducing a fresh addition to our mixtape series, the illustrious Belgian DJ, producer, model, and environmental advocate, Eva Swan, following the release of her mesmerizing new track, ‘Hello Stranger’. This well-crafted tech house gem, rich with intricate melodies, highlights Eva Swan’s exceptional talents as both a songwriter and vocalist. Supported by a brooding bassline and airy synth textures, this enchanting composition exudes an enticingly dark and mysterious aura.
Eva Swan’s world is a tapestry of talents. From Belgium, this DJ, producer, model, fashion aficionado, activist, and environmentalist has carved her unique path. She began studying music theory at the tender age of eight, mastering the guitar and flute by twelve, and later the piano at eighteen.
Only good and super positive vibes are allowed in this mix. In fact, that’s my main goal for every DJ set: to raise the frequency of the people. Technique is also very important to me, I try to make each mixtape and performance better than the last. I love mixing different styles. I’m convinced that’s what makes it interesting to listen to. You’ll find influences from Techhouse, Dance, 90s, Pop, Melody, etc. I hope you love it as much as I do. Come on, move!
Eva’s foray into electronic music began in the vibrant clubs of Belgium, notably the iconic Café d’Anvers. Her journey took an exciting turn with a one-way ticket to Ibiza, where she immersed herself in the island’s dynamic scene, bonding with clubs, DJs, and an array of sounds that deepened her love for club-focused music. This, combined with her early classical training, nurtured her distinct appreciation for raw musical elements.
Eva has graced the stages of notable venues such as Café d’Anvers in Antwerp, Fuse in Brussels, Tresor Berlin, Hör Berlin, and StereoChic in Lille. She has played alongside prominent figures like I HATE MODELS, Amelie Lens, Deborah De Luca, and OXIA.
After years of delivering powerful hard techno beats, Eva is now exploring a broader spectrum of styles. Her current sets blend tech house with more mainstream pop influences, as well as techno, melodic techno, electro, and dance.
