Fresh from a series of electrifying live shows, including a recent performance with Jasper Tygner in Hackney and a stunning debut at the Warehouse Project’s HOMOBLOC, Kiimi returns with their latest track, ‘Coconut Water.’ This new release showcases a more experimental side, venturing into darker sounds while remaining filled with the immaculate beats and vibrant energy fans love. Kiimi’s thrilling evolution continues with each release, establishing them as a captivating presence in electronic music since their arrival in 2022, earning praise from industry greats like Jamie XX and The Blessed Madonna.
With highlights that include a sold-out debut show at The Social in London and opening for major events, Kiimi is rapidly gaining traction. Their distinctive sound has found support across the BBC R1 dance family, solidifying Kiimi’s position as an artist to watch in 2024 and beyond.
“The inspiration for this mix came from a show I did in Rome just before Christmas, at a party called No Tomorrow. It was one of my favourite sets I’ve played in a long time – the setting was incredible, inside the ruins of a castle on the outskirts of the city – I played loads of new tunes and kept the set quite techno-heavy. There was a magic in the air that made me feel comfortable exploring darker sounds and experimenting”.
