Chiara Zarmati is an italian illustrator and writer. She’s studied illustration in Turin. “My Girls” is the project Zarmati is making here in Berlin. This is also a project for women and women, speaks about the feminine beauty that falls in love, moves and grows with the surrounding environment and tries to make explicit how much the beauty of the female body can be disarming and elegant (even with a few kilos more).
“With “My Girls” I try to talk about all the female eyes that I met everyday, which help me to look the reality with perspective which I had not imagined. I do not want to deploy myself for a certain political movement. I believe in gender equality, I love the strength, beauty and depth that are in every woman. This project is a hymn dedicated to this.”
