Yesterday, the sad news broke that another iconic voice of our generation, Dolores O’Riordan of The Cranberries, passed away suddenly at the age of 46.
Her unforgettable vocal never shied away from belting out the heartfelt, relatable lyrics that pushed the boundaries of the female-fronted rock era. Her words shone a much-needed light on controversial topics that offered hope and comfort to whoever they touched. She helped so many lost and disheartened youths growing up in the late 90s find their place in the world – including myself – and her songs inspired a generation of young female artists to channel their emotions into their music.
We are really, truly saddened to hear of her passing, and so we’re sharing our top 10 Cranberries tracks with you in tribute to her.
