“OUT OF PLACE is an editorial that explores the constraint of the body, where each image reveals a sense of tension, discomfort, or oppression. The garments cling closely to the body, enveloping it and heightening the feeling of being contained, restricted, almost confined. The set is minimal and clinical, allowing full focus on the silhouettes and their constrained gestures.
Frontal compositions place the body filling the entire frame, crouched and compressed, capturing a sense of vulnerable presence. Beauty shots reveal facial details, with hair also contributing to this sense of constraint: long, heavy, and enveloping the face. A tension emerges between the desire for movement and its impossibility, between impulse and frustration.”
