Palace & C.P. Company did it again

After the success of their first collaboration, C.P. Company and Palace are back with another collection that combines the innovative sportswear of the Italian brand with Palace’s versatile aesthetic.

Born in South Bank, one of the key centres of the London skate scene, Palace is known for blending vintage and contemporary influences into streetwear silhouettes. For the second chapter of this collaboration, Palace has taken on some iconic C.P. Company shapes and fabrics, resulting in a collection that combines technical know-how with experimental aesthetics and meticulous attention to detail.

The Goggle jacket, featuring a removable fleece lining, is made from Kan-D. This monofilament nylon gets its name from its resemblance to the cellophane candy wrappers of the 1950s and 1960s. This fabric has an extremely transparent texture and shiny surface, highlighting the PALACE COMPANY logo printed on the back, the branding on the front, and all the utility pockets.

The Goggle model itself has been recreated in a padded silhouette in a vibrant, glossy orange, thanks to the use of Flatt Nylon, a brushed nylon that provides a softer fabric and a matte finish. The jacket includes a hidden and detachable face mask.

Another iconic piece from the C.P. Company catalogue, the Explorer Jacket, has been reproduced in D.D. Shell Rip-Stop. This thinner, uncoated nylon, combined with the Direct Down injection process, gives the garments a softer feel and a nuanced light-dark effect.

Palace’s irreverent approach is even more evident in the accessories of the capsule collection, such as the convertible “Nylon B” shoulder bag. Its versatile structure can be used as a backpack or shoulder bag, featuring adjustable straps and buckles. The range also includes a Goggle cap with a straight brim and a down-filled D.D. Shell scarf, and a baseball cap with ear flaps and goggles on the back.

The second chapter of this collaboration also features a range of everyday garments, including cargo pants made from Flatt Nylon, a hooded sweatshirt in cotton fleece, a short-sleeved T-shirt with distinctive graphics from both brands and a turtleneck sweater in lambswool.

To celebrate the launch, Palace has created a magnificent campaign—a tribute to the rich heritage of C.P. Company and the magnificent beauty of northern Italy. Directed by Michael J. Fox and Stuart Hammond, the campaign stars Palace skate team members Lucien Clarke, Rory Milanes, Danny Brady, and artist Andrea Renzini—who was Massimo Osti’s muse in the 1980s.

The capsule collection will be available from December 8th at Palace stores and online at Palaceskateboards.com, exclusively at the C.P. Company flagship store in Milan and online at cpcompany.com.
